From Mali, original Necklace made with a particular technique: the colored pearls and shells are put on a tubolar series of threads to create a massive colorful impact.
In the traditions of nomadic populations the sets of jewels, and particularly the necklaces, had a great importance: they were used during the rites of passage, among the different age classes, during weddings and ceremonies. The colored glass beads arrived with European merchants and were appreciated for their lightness.
