Manjushree è anche una delle forme di Bodhisatwa e simboleggia sempre la saggezza.
In Nepal è considerato il fondatore della civiltà nepalese e il creatore della valle di Kathmandu.
Secondo la tradizione, era anche un santo cinese.
La sua intuizione gli parlò della fiamma blu (che simboleggia l’Adibuddha o Adibudda di Swayambhu) su un loto nel grande lago del Nepal. Andò lì per offrire adorazione, ma non riuscì a raggiungerlo a causa dell’acqua.
Allora con la sua spada tagliò la parete meridionale delle colline e l’acqua del lago defluì a sud. La valle divenuta secca divenne la valle di Kathmandu.
Manjushree God Divine Wisdom, porta la spada della saggezza e della luce nella mano destra e Prajnaparmita che manoscrive ‘il libro della saggezza divina’ alla sua sinistra sul fiore di loto. La sua mano sinistra è nel gesto di insegnamento (Jnan Mudra).
È anche chiamato Manjunghose, Manju Bara, Vajranga e Vagiswara.
Le persone credono che l’adorazione di Manjushree possa conferire loro saggezza, memoria e intelligenza.

Manjushree bronze small Staue, God of Divine Wisdom, whose worship confers mastery of the Dharma, retentive memory, mental perfection and eloquence.
Manjushree is also one of the forms of Bodhisatwas and he symbolies wisdom. In Nepal he is considered as the founder of nepalese civilization and the creator of Kathmandu Valley. According to the tradition, he was a Chinese Saint.
His intuition told him of the blue flame (symbolizing Adibuddha of Swayambhu) on a lotus in the big lake of Nepal. He went there to offer worship, but could not reach because of the water. He cut with his sword the southern wall of the hills. The water of the lake drained to the south. The dry valley became the Kathmandu Valley. He carries the sword of wisdom and light in his right hand and Prajnaparmita manuscipt ‘the book of Divine Wisdom’ on his left on the lotus blossom. His left hand will be in teaching gesture (Jnan Mudra).
