Kashmir | Stole in wool embroidered by hand. Beautiful scarf in pure wool with a natural white background, entirely decorated with a very characteristic handcrafted embroidery and different from the most typical ones: the total extension of the fabric is divided into squares by a refined border with beautiful pink hues, inside which a stylized floral design, always in the same colors but here combined with black, stands out in all its beauty and elegance. Despite the complexity and quantity of processing, the stole, made with great skill, is kept soft and enveloping, making it easy to use. At the two ends a fringe completes the whole. A characteristic product of the Kashmir region, an area of ​​northern India located between Pakistan and China, which has always been disputed by these states, this fabric was born from the ancient wool processing, decorated with beautiful decorative elements, completely handmade with the crewel technique , method of embroidery with wool threads made with different points, especially grass and chain stitch. Among the most common subjects we find the Paisley, an English word for the design boteh or buta, of ancient Persian origin depicting vegetal elements such as small shrubs, palm leaves and flower buds. It is possible to hand wash this fabric, with cold water and neutral detergent, not letting it soak and then rinsing it with running water.
