Croce Etiopica tipica tradizione, cultura e fede Ortodossa

160,00

Descrizione

Belonging to the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, which in turn has been jointed with the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Ethiopians have professed their belief in a constant and tenacious way for centuries, telling in every way the events and worldly facts of Christ, Mary, the saints and all those who have contributed to such a glorious doctrine.
One of the most important expressions of this genuine art are indeed the crosses, made both to be worn and used during the sacred celebrations.
The crosses may come in many forms, a veritable multitude of shapes and sizes, each with its own unique meaning and symbolism.
This beautiful processional cross, equipped with a handle to be used in ceremonies, has a Latin footprint where natural decors stand out, derived from the ancient crosses from the second half of the thirteenth century.
