L’Arte Megalitica qui rappresentata risale alle popolazioni della ‘Cultura Boyne’, vissute in Irlanda più di 5000 anni fa e per l’appunto nella valle del Boyne, che costruirono il Bruig o ‘Spirit Temples’, ora importante sito archeologico del neolitico. I disegni riprodotti in questi pendenti sono quelli originariamente incisi o scavati nelle rocce, ed ognuno è espressione delle loro conoscenze astronomiche legate a significati sacri e spirituali.
La ‘Dea Gatto‘, immagine molto sacra che risale all’antichità è rimasta nel credo religioso sino al periodo medioevale. Il gatto era frequente nella prima arte cristiana, in cui è strettamente legato ad altri simboli della Dea, spesso associata a Sheela-na-Gig.
Il pendente è fornito con una catenina lunga 45 cm.

The cat is common in early christian art where it is closely related to other goddess oriented symbols such as the Sheela-na-Gig.
